Illuminated Stillness brought together a collection of linocut prints and acrylic paintings exploring light, glass and domestic space.
Inspired by the leadlight windows of my home, the exhibition considered the way light transforms familiar objects and everyday scenes.
About the artist
Lucy Watts is a Melbourne-based printmaker and painter working from her home studio in Ashburton.
Her work is inspired by light, domestic interiors and the natural world, with a particular focus on the quiet beauty of everyday spaces.
Each piece is hand-carved and printed using traditional linocut techniques.
